TREKKING BASE TORRES
AN ANDEAN ADVENTURE
We will depart from Puerto Natales heading north towards Torres del Paine National Park. Begin the hike along the trail leading to an old bridge over the Asencio River. After an hour of hiking, we'll reach El Chileno Camp, shaded by a spectacular lenga forest, crossing several streams from Mount Almirante Nieto. After a brief stop, continue to the next viewpoint at 700 meters altitude. From here, the trail steepens. Half an hour later, we’ll reach the Base Las Torres on the eastern edge of the lagoon, offering a stunning view of the three towers (Central, Monzino, and Dagostini) and the Peineta and Nido de Cóndores hills. Enjoy this view while resting and having our boxed lunch. We will return along the same trail.
