From there we will proceed towards the National Park, entering at the Serrano gate, through to Lake Grey, where we will begin a 40-minute hike to the Grey Glacier where we will board a catamaran and sail around the Glacier.
Following the nautical activity, we will continue our hike to the Pehoé Camping site, where we will enjoy a lunch break, while observing the local flora and fauna, including condors, huemuls, pumas, guanacos, flamingos, nandus, and may others, as we head towards the “Great Waterfall”. From there we continue our tour of the Paine Cordillera to Lake Nordenskjold, Amarga Lagoon and Lake Sarmiento, before returning to Puerto Natales.
Tour hours: 7:45 am - 9:00 pm
Leaving Puerto Natales towards the Torres del Paine National Park. The trekking adventure begins with a trail walk towards an ancient bridge crossing the Asencio River.
After an hour hike we will arrive at the El Chileno Camp site, under a spectacular lengas forest, passing by several water springs sourced from the Admiral Nieto mountain.
After a brief stop, we continue our hike to the next lookout point, at an altitude of 700 meters (2300 feet). As the trail steepness increases, and following a half hour walk, we will arrive at the Torres del Paine base, on the east side of the lagoon, from where we will have a spectacular view of the three towers (Central, Monzino and D’Agostini), and of the Peineta and Nido de Condores hills. With that view we will enjoy a well deserved rest and our lunch. We will then walk back on the same trail to the starting point.
